Since I made it there (and I'm making some time off work), let me share how I got there yesterday in case you're planning to go there to apply for your visa.
I'm from the province and I hardly know places in Metro Manila. So my first entry point is the MRT. But MRT in North Avenue station is the worst during Monday mornings so I suggest going to another station via bus? Timog station could be a good bet. From Timog station, stop at Guadalupe station (P20.00 fare). Down the exit, you will see people asking you where are you going and if you need a taxi. Skip them and at your left there's a Jollibee which I vaguely remember reading from another blogger about. Go to the market's way, I asked a few people about FTI/C-5 the jeep. It's apparently the jeeps going down the slope. A kind officer helped me by asking a driver if they will pass the Korean embassy because apparently their paradahan/terminal. Yes they do, so just look for the jeep with the FTI/C-5 signs. They're mostly empty so you can ask the jeepney driver to make a stop to where the embassy is. Phew, no need for taxis.
You can skip this next part because you probably don't need this info.
Inside the embassy, you'll need to sign a log sheet at the gate. I didn't need to leave an ID, I just signed. I arrived at almost 10am by the way because of traffic but I was out before 10:30am (including a trip to the CR). Once inside the embassy, you can get a form and fill them out or fill them ahead at your home. I had my form and photocopies of requirements ready (no need to staple them). There's a line headed by Filipino staff, which will assess your forms and photocopies first, staple them and give you a queue number to which window you will go. It's follows a sequence so you will know where you will go.
I wanted to share further but maybe I'll just do it next time I could probably write more in case it could affect my chance of getting my visa approved. For now, I just wanted to help anyone else wondering how to go to the embassy.
PS. You don't need to wear business attire, a lot of people inside were wearing jeans. Anything clean and presentable is good enough. It's probably better to dress a little more instead when it's time to claim your passport in case you'll need to have an interview with the consul. Good luck, and remember to be early!
